Do I need to be online to edit a project?
« on: February 24, 2018, 08:59:25 AM »
Yes, you need to be online to edit a project in DM in order to have your worked saved to the project. If you are off-line and editing a project, changes you make will only be made to the local instance of your project on your computer - they will not be saved to the server hosting the project.

If you are offline when editing a project, or if you lose online connectivity, an alert will inform you this is the case. When online connectivity is restored, any changes you've made to the project while it was only local will be saved to the server - however, this is not an advised mode of working over any length of time. See "Saving Work, Backing Up & Exporting Projects" (https://digitalmappa.org/backing-up-a-project/) on the DigitalMappa.org site for more information.
